Do we need a marriage license to get married ?
Yes, you need a marriage license. from any county in the state of Arizona issued within the last 12 months.

Where can we get a marriage license ?
In Pima County a marriage license can be obtained at:
--Pima County Superior Court
--Oro Valley Magistrate Court
--Marana Magistrate Court
--Green Valley Justice Court

What else is legally required for a wedding ?
The couple, two witnesses 18 years or older, and a legal officiant.

Can we come to you to get married ?
YES you can come to my place along with your 2 witnesses for a simple ceremony either inside or weather permitting, outback (limited to 6 people total).

Do you come to the rehearsal ?
Generally NO because you don't need the officiant there. Most officiants do not attend and would charge an extra fee which would be money better spent on other wedding expenses.

Can we personalize our ceremony with our own vows or readings ?
YES! I encourage couples to consider making the ceremony personal in a way that is comfortable for them. Too shy or nervous ? This is very common. Don't worry, you can also leave it all to me to provide an appropriate ceremony based on your wishes and the overall circumstances.

Can we meet with you before we decide whether to get married by Paul ?
Absolutely!! I want to be the easy part of the process for you. If we talk on the phone and you are ready to book me or we meet in person first. That's up to you.

How much will it cost me to get married by Paul ?
After we communicate about the basic wedding details I will quote you a specific fee based on the location, size, date and time of the wedding. My normal fees range from $80 to $250 (travel over 10 miles may require additional fee). See my "Services" tab for specifics.

Do you require a written contract or deposit ?
Yes. Payment in full is due beforeyour wedding day. I re-confirm wedding details with all couples the week preceding the scheduled wedding date.

After booking you can we stay in touch by phone, email, or text ?
For sure! I'm always available to discuss your wedding ceremony and answer your questions.

Do you have a sense of humor and like to have fun during a wedding ?
Definitely. If a couple wants to make it fun or humorous that suits me fine. I have participated and shown up dressed appropriately for many "themed" weddings (Hawaiian, Halloween, western, etc).
